What is the Pomodoro Technique?
The Pomodoro Technique is a time-management method developed by Francesco Cirillo. You work for 25 focused minutes, then take a 5-minute break. After four pomodoros you take a longer 15-minute break. The structure eliminates the urge to multitask and makes large tasks feel manageable.
Can I customise the timer length?
Yes. You can use the preset modes โ Pomodoro (25 min), Short Focus (15 min), or Deep Work (50 min) โ or set a fully custom duration. Break lengths and auto-start behaviour are also configurable in your preferences.
How does the daily goal work?
Set a target number of sessions and a target number of focus minutes per day. Two live progress bars track your progress toward both goals throughout the day, resetting each morning.
What happens if I abandon a session?
Abandoned sessions are logged separately from completed ones. Your stats show both so you can see not just how much you focused but also how often you got interrupted โ useful data for improving your environment.
Is my data private?
Completely. Your sessions, tasks, and stats are visible only to you. We never sell your data or show ads inside the timer.
