Can I plan meals for the whole family?
Yes. Each planned meal has a servings field so you can scale any recipe up for multiple people. Calories are calculated per serving and multiplied automatically, and the shopping list reflects the correct quantities for your chosen servings.
Do I need a saved recipe to add a meal?
No. You can add a quick meal by just typing the meal name โ no recipe required. This is useful for simple everyday meals or when you're eating out and just want to log the slot.
How does the shopping list work?
The shopping list is generated from all the ingredients in your planned recipes for the week. Items are grouped by category (Vegetables, Dairy, Grains, Protein, Spices, etc.) and you can tick them off as you shop. You can also add items manually.
Which cuisines are supported?
Recipes can be tagged with South Indian, North Indian, Kerala, Chinese, Continental, Italian, Mexican, Thai, Arabic, or Street Food. You can filter your recipe library by cuisine when planning meals.
Is my data private?
Completely. Your recipes, meal plans, and nutrition logs are visible only to you. We never sell your data or show ads inside the planner.
