What makes this different from saving quotes in a notes app?
A notes app stores text. Quote Collector treats every quote as a structured record — with an author, source, category, mood, language, personal note, tags, and collection. You can filter, search, and rediscover by any of these dimensions. You also get a daily quote drawn from your own library, and a random surfacer for serendipitous rediscovery.
How does the daily quote work?
Each day, one quote is selected from your collection and shown on your dashboard. It's drawn from your featured quotes if you have any, or randomly from everything you've saved otherwise. You can also request a new daily quote at any time — today's selection resets and a fresh one is chosen.
Can I organise quotes into different folders?
Yes — Collections work as folders. Create as many as you like (Philosophy, Motivation, Work, Travel…), assign an icon and colour to each, and pin the ones you visit most to the top of your dashboard.
What languages are supported?
You can save quotes in English, Hindi, Tamil, Sanskrit, Arabic, French, Spanish, German, and more. The language field is free-form, so any language works. You can filter your entire library by language once saved.
What is the difference between Favourites and Featured?
Favouriting (❤️) is personal curation — your absolute best quotes, the ones you'd share or return to often. Featuring (⭐) marks quotes for the daily quote pool — featured quotes appear more frequently as your daily pick. You can do both, either, or neither.
Is there a limit to how many quotes I can save?
No limit. Save every highlight from every book you've ever read. The library is designed to hold thousands of quotes and still let you find exactly what you need through search and filters.
